Known primarily as a "straight-ahead groove and funk" guitarist, his reputation is solidly cast in those genres. Here, Jimmy not only grooves with his signature funky sound, but also showcases his multi-faceted writing skills, ballad work and delves into a program of music astonishingly varied in scope. These sessions recorded in Jimmy's hometown of Pittsburgh, PA feature the players and the program of Jimmy's own choosing, and reflect a confluence of love, respect and talent felt by all involved…a creative Golden Triangle.
