Eric Alexander makes his first recording as an exclusive HighNote artist with his working band featuring Harold Mabern, John Webber and Joe Farnsworth. Eric made his recording debut back in 1991 on the Muse label so it is only fitting that he return to the same studios where it all began. Recorded at the famed Van Gelder Studios under the watchful eyes of RVG himself, Eric and Co. fire through eight tracks of standards ("It's Magic", "Almost Like Being in Love") and jazz classics by McCoy Tyner, Herbie Hancock, Pat Martino and others. The close-knit ensemble of a band of regular buddies, coupled with their phenomenal chops and the wealth of experience make for a listening experience not soon forgotten and some of the finest jazz committed to disc.

Eric Alexander- tenor saxophone; Harold Mabern- piano; John Webber- bass; Joe Farnsworth- drums.
