For years, the tenor player of choice for Ray Charles, David Newman sustains an attitude of freshness and exploration in every recording or public appearance. David is joined here by his old High School chum, piano legend Cedar Walton, and vibes player Bryan Carrott for a selection of standards, jazz tunes and original compositions.
